About JPG and PDF

Turn one or more JPG or JPEG photos into a PDF for sharing or printing. The converter normally embeds JPEG image data directly. Some photos are re-encoded at high quality to correct orientation. Page settings control how each photo fits on the page; they do not restore detail missing from the source image.

Frequently asked questions

Will converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?

Most JPG files are embedded without another JPEG export. Some photos need a high-quality re-encode to correct orientation, so no-recompression cannot be guaranteed for every file. Enlarging a photo on a PDF page does not add detail.

Can I combine several JPG photos in one PDF?

Yes. Each photo becomes one page in the displayed order. The usual limit is 20 photos, or 5 when the browser reports limited device memory. File-size and pixel limits also apply.

Will a photo of text become searchable?

No. The PDF contains the photo as an image. This tool does not perform OCR or turn photographed text into selectable text.

Why does my PDF have blank space around a photo?

A4 and US Letter fit the photo inside the chosen margin without cropping or stretching it. Different page and photo proportions can leave blank space. Match each image uses the photo’s shape with no added margin.

Can I add PNG, WebP or HEIC files here?

This page accepts JPG and JPEG only. Use Image to PDF or Images to PDF to combine the other supported image formats.
