About JPG and PDF

Create a PDF from one image or a mix of supported image formats. JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP and supported HEIC or HEIF files can be added to the same document. Each image becomes one page. Choose A4, US Letter or a page shape matched to each image, then create the PDF locally on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix different image formats in one PDF?

Yes. Add any supported combination of JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF. One image becomes one page, in the order shown in the list.

Why won’t my HEIC or HEIF file open?

Some encodings cannot be decoded. Try exporting the photo as JPEG from your Photos app. For a multi-image HEIC or HEIF file, only the first decoded image is used.

Are images recompressed during PDF conversion?

PNG is embedded directly. JPG is normally embedded directly, but some photos are re-encoded at high quality to correct orientation. WebP and HEIC are converted to high-quality JPG for PDF compatibility, with transparent areas filled white.

How many images can I add?

The usual limit is 20 images, with up to 30 MB per file. When the browser reports limited device memory, this drops to 5 images and 15 MB per file. Very large pixel dimensions may also be rejected.

Can I convert just one image?

Yes. Add one image to create a single-page PDF, or add several to create a multi-page document. Each image gets its own page.
