Auto keeps normal pages at 300 DPI and only lowers oversized pages enough to fit your device. Every result shows the actual DPI used. Higher DPI cannot sharpen a blurry scan.

Enter page numbers or ranges, e.g. 1-3, 5. Up to 20 pages per batch.

PNG is lossless. JPG exports at 95% quality. No automatic file-size compression.

THREE SIMPLE STEPS

How it works

  1. 1

Choose a PDF up to 200 MB. If prompted, enter its password and click Open PDF.

  2. 2

Keep JPG selected, choose up to 20 pages and set Auto or a fixed resolution.

  3. 3

Convert and check the full-size pages and actual DPI. Download the JPG files or a ZIP before starting another batch.

Why use this tool?

  • Select page numbers or ranges and export up to 20 pages at a time.
  • Use Auto for device-aware resolution or choose a fixed DPI.
  • Download individual JPG pages or collect the results in a ZIP.

About PDF and JPG

Save selected PDF pages as JPG images for sharing or inserting into other documents. Each output is a rendered page, not an extraction of the original embedded photos. JPG is selected by default. Choose Auto or a fixed 150, 300 or 600 DPI setting, then inspect the actual resolution and full-size result before downloading.

Frequently asked questions

What are the PDF file-size and page limits?

The input limit is 200 MB, with up to 20 selected pages per batch. Longer PDFs can be processed in separate batches. Large page images can hit memory limits sooner; download completed pages, then try fewer pages or a lower DPI.

How does Auto differ from a fixed DPI setting?

Auto aims for 300 DPI and lowers it when needed to fit the page within device limits. Each result shows the actual DPI. Fixed 150, 300 or 600 DPI settings report an error if the page is too large, rather than silently lowering resolution.

Will higher DPI improve a blurry scan?

No. Higher DPI creates more pixels and can show more detail from vector text and graphics, but it cannot recover information missing from a low-resolution or blurry scan. It also increases processing and memory use.

Does JPG preserve selectable text and links?

No. Each JPG is a flat image of the page, so text is not selectable and links are not interactive. The tool renders the whole selected page rather than extracting individual embedded images.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

Yes, if you know the password required to open it. Enter it in the tool and click Open PDF. The PDF and password are used locally in your browser and are not uploaded for conversion.
